Singapore Sling is an amazing cocktail – I was even lucky enough to try the real thing at it’s place of origin, Raffles Hotel, Singapore. Here I’ve adapted an Italian twist on the famous sling. Aperol has a fruity but more bitter taste to it which balances the cocktail from the sugary heights of the original sling.
- 1 msr Aperol
- 1 msr Cherry Brandy
- ½ msr Grand Marnier
- 1 msr Freshly squeezed Orange juice
- ¼ msr Grenadine
- Orange and Lime segments plus fresh mint to garnish
- 1 msr Lime juice (about two limes)
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes. Shake and strain into an ice filled glass. To finish, garnish with orange and lime slices and a sprig of mint.
